We are proud to once again announce our involvement with DesertFest London with another Human_Disease_Promo / When Planet's Collide Stage at the 2015 edition of the festival.
This year we have chosen a selection of bands that straddle the genres of the heavy music spectrum with specific sights on epic, turbulent and venomously unrestrained sounds, also incorporating many lyric themes surrounding topics regarding an abjective accountability for human-kinds actions. Taking a slight step away from the smoke riffs and dixie land inspired elements we have focused on an all together crustier and nasty affair, bridging the void from misery to hatred through colossal and destructive walls of darkened doomed noise.
WALK THROUGH FIRE and AGRIMONIA are both set to bring the darkness of Sweden’s Gothenburg here to Camden ensuring a crusty and drawn out first half to the proceedings. We are also pleased to bring the putrid and vile fuzzed sludge of DOPETHRONE all the way from Canada to add to the mix. Continuing the darkened theme would not be right without at least one band from the bitter streets of Chicago, coming to us in the form of MINSK. The stage is then completed by not one but two US west coast stalwarts of crushing blackened noise - San Fran’s thunderous duo of noise insanity BLACK COBRA, and for the first time ever in the UK the mighty grim tones of NOOTHGRUSH will bring Friday’s second stage to a close. We couldn’t be more pleased with the overall result and dynamic of the stage as a whole and we trust many of those at Desertfest in 2015 will join us in the bowels of the Underworld to get the festival off to a fittingly terrifying start!
