NOOTHGRUSH To Headline HDP / WPC Stage At DESERTFEST 2015

We are proud to once again announce our involvement with DesertFest London with another Human_Disease_Promo / When Planet's Collide Stage at the 2015 edition of the festival.

This year we have chosen a selection of bands that straddle the genres of the heavy music spectrum with specific sights on epic, turbulent and venomously unrestrained sounds, also incorporating many lyric themes surrounding topics regarding an abjective accountability for human-kinds actions. Taking a slight step away from the smoke riffs and dixie land inspired elements we have focused on an all together crustier and nasty affair, bridging the void from misery to hatred through colossal and destructive walls of darkened doomed noise. 

WALK THROUGH FIRE and AGRIMONIA are both set to bring the darkness of Sweden’s Gothenburg here to Camden ensuring a crusty and drawn out first half to the proceedings. We are also pleased to bring the putrid and vile fuzzed sludge of DOPETHRONE all the way from Canada to add to the mix. Continuing the darkened theme would not be right without at least one band from the bitter streets of Chicago, coming to us in the form of MINSK. The stage is  then completed by not one but two US west coast stalwarts of crushing blackened noise - San Fran’s thunderous duo of noise insanity BLACK COBRA, and for the first time ever in the UK the mighty grim tones of NOOTHGRUSH will bring Friday’s second stage to a close. We couldn’t be more pleased with the overall result and dynamic of the stage as a whole and we trust many of those at Desertfest in 2015 will join us in the bowels of the Underworld to get the festival off to a fittingly terrifying start!

H_D_P DJ Set at WPC Summer Sizzler 2014

H_D_P will once again be spinning tunes at this years When Planet's Collide Summer Sizzler at The Brixton Windmill on the weekend of 29th / 30th August.
This year's installment sees a crusty start on the Friday with the likes of Liverpool reprobates SIEGE MENTALITY, London's DYSTERIA (first show back following a year of inactivity), and Brighton bully boys TEEF. This is followed by London pysch sludge / swamp sludge buddies SEDULUS and GURT, and as a special treat riff happy cosmic mentalists ASTROHENGE will be playing a special set to kick the proceedings off ahead of their appearance at ArcTangent Festival the following day.
Saturday then sees the likes of the mighty BENDAL INTERLUDE heading down from Liverpool along with fellow city dwellers and summer sizzler headliners the UK's own filth sludge fuck ups IRON WITCH. Sandwiched between these are the treats of the shire's ELEPHANT TREE, Manchester's southern-metal tinged crazies PIST, hard rocking trio GRIFTER come up from all the way from down South West, and London's own brick wall of sludge edged metal DIESEL KING.
All of this plus the traditional BBQ in the garden (overlooked by the infamous Windmill's dog on the roof) mean it's shaped up to be a total rager so H_D_P will be aiming to keep things rolling by playing all the nastiest and most dirge ridden tunes possible between and after bands. See y'all south of the sewer!

HDP / WPC Stage @ DesertFest Poster Artwork Revealed

We're chuffed as fuck to once again be blessed with the artistic talent of one Mr Daniel Schooler for the poster of our stage at DesertFest 2014. Dan's artwork has been of a running theme over our stages at the last DesertFest's as well as many other Human_Disease_Promo shows and we're stoked to have his offerings available for us once again :

Don't forget tickets are currently still on sale for this year's event but they're shifting fast so get onto leedstickets or seetickets now to avoid dissapointment. Eagle Twin to complete HDP / WPC Stage lineup for DesertFest 2014

We're stoked to announce the final band to complete the lineup for the Human_Disease_Promo / When Planet Collide stage for DesertFest this year is set to be Salt Lake City's monstrous doom duo EAGLE TWIN. They join an already crushingly heavy lineup including fellow American's Sourvein and Graves At Sea, Kongh from Sweden, Italy's Grime, and the UK's own Pombagira, War Wolf and Lifer. All of this will take place at Camden's legendary Underworld venue on the Sunday of the festival which falls on 27th April 2014.
